The past week and a half have been a bit of a blur.
On the way to see Admiral Fallow with Allan, Robyn & Ryan I got a call from Dave asking if I'd film the fashion show that he and Morna were part of that Friday (This was on the Tuesday).
"But I don't have a camera."
"One will be provided."
I said I'd go in the next day and check out the equiptment, see if I thought I could do it. The next day came and I went to the Town Hall and met Dave outside, he led me upstairs and into the Out of the Darkness office. I was given the camera and we went off to figure out how it worked, something which didn't take long at all. I agreed to film and then left.
It was upon agreeing that seemed to set the blur going. Thursday was rehearsals, which I filmed. Friday was the show, which I filmed and was there for most of the day. Saturday I slept, Sunday quiz. Monday, I went back in to start editing, Tuesday, I met Morna for pancakes at Robyn's, before going back to the Town Hall and helping her devise something for ODTC. Wednesday, more editing and Thursday, even more editing*.
I got a text from Morna asking what the plan was for tonight and saying that she missed the office today and I am too.
I haven't been paid for any of the filming/editing (and won't be). But honestly, I'd happily go into the office every day, just to hang out. I've never been around so many people, in a 'work' environment and found myself smiling so much.
